Friend got to pay a pretty stiff fine for using train horn on 18 wheeler in CA. Just a word to the wise.

Some areas of cities or a gated community you would not want to use the air horns. And as dlovitt posted, probably illegal in parts of CA

As some have found...when the dog gets up on the drivers seat and puts feet on steering wheel, activating said horn, it is nice in a campground to not have the air horn switched to "on".

On my previous RV Monaco the air horn switch was only on the side panel. Our schnauzer would place a paw on it frequently while watching me work outside and upset the folks around us. I eventually wired the horn thru two switches because the dog isn't that smart. You can't win.
