On my Entegra, I have to run the engine at fast idle to retract the jacks, and the slides after every stop. That does not happen at operating temperatures when leaving. I don't think running an air booster but maybe twice a year is going to hurt the engine anymore than retracting the slides after every stop. Also less damaging than using the onboard air compressor to air tires and I have been doing that for 15 years as have many others.

Air Double installed. I big thanks to Jeanne, Magic-Carpet and her expertise on air fittings and coaching. Thanks to her, the mounting and connections were a piece of cake, I enjoy copying from the best. Mounted air connectors on both sides of the coach for easy access. One 25 ft air hose will reach all of the tires. I went this route for easy, nothing to setup and store each time I use it, just plug and play when needed. With 290 psi output it takes seconds to top off the front tires which is what I was looking for.

Chuck. Where did you get the short pieces that go out to both sides?

Through Jeanne coaching they were made with pneumatic tubing and push to connect fittings. To be honest, I didn't even know these parts were available. I followed her post she did a while back, but made it a little simpler. (I like simple)

Thanks to you for showing me how easy it is to make custom fit air lines. I am still old school with compressed fittings (expensive). People like you on this forum make it great!! I was not aware they made Shark Bite type air fittings as you don't see those at Lowe's.

I take a lot away from this Forum and I am glad that I was able to give back a little bit.

Another source for the quick couplers is Fastenal. I looking for something else in their store the other day and came across a section with all the push to connect couplers you would need to do something like the compressor lines.

Thanks, another great source, we even have one in my smallish area. Never though about them. I won't shop Granger anymore they are so over priced.
It is small educational posts like yours that make what I thought was going to be a parts nightmare job very simple.

I choose the simple and cheap approach. I increased the cutoff point on the engine air compressor to 135 psi. Clean dry air for the front tires.

How long will it take to air the front tires from 118 to 125 PSI ?

Chuck, which model number did you end up ordering for your air booster (SMC?). VBA10, VBA20, or VBA40 with the gauges and 3/8" supply? Like your set up!

My air kicks off at 125 psi. As I air my fronts to 110 I can't answer your direct question. What I can say is when my Ft. are at 100 I can get them to 110 in maybe a minute time.

Mark, Mine is the small VBA10. As little as I will need to use it, the small light weight VBA10 will serve my needs. The VBA10 is 1/4 NPT fittings with 3/8 in 250 psi air line. Thanks for the compliment, but the credit goes to Jeanne, I copied her
