Another Aqua Hot question
periodically going into the control panel in the bathroom and my aqua hot burner green light is off but button is on.. switch it to off then back on and it lights up again and my burner kicks back on.. any one know why this is happening and whats the fix?
also in the manual it states that the engine block heater will heat the coach from the engine when you are driving.. anyone know what the settings need to be for that to work?? thanks

The switch sounds like it is bad, I would change the switch. What model Entegra do you have? An Aspire cannot heat the coach with engine heat, the others can. Turn the Burner and Electric switches off and turn the thermostat switch to "heat". Hot engine coolant will then flow through the AH system heating the coach.

First off it depends on what model coach you have. What Chuck meant to say was...
Anthems/Cornerstones can heat the Aqua Hot unit via engine coolant. If you turn your burner off and electric element off then turn thermostats to HEAT the heat registers and or floor heat is being heated via the Cummins motor as you drive.
Aspires do not have an engine heating loop to the Aqua Hot. The AH is heated electrically or via the burner on LP gas. To generate heat in the coach while driving you'd want to run your burner on and select HEAT on whatever zone you want in the coach. There is an argument that less complexity without an engine cooling loop might be a good thing with less places to fail.
Zone 2 on HEAT runs the floor heat via whatever heating source engine/burner/ electric you have hot.

The green light will, also go off if there is a problem with the aqua hot unit. Such as a bad motor or other control issues. Turning it off and back on resets the fault and it will go out again if the problem still exists.

That's good to know Tony, I learned something new with the AH. It would sure help if we knew if the OP had a diesel or LP AH.

Another post says they have a "2014 anthem 44b". Hope this helps.
It's another AH post and I like to keep up on them.

Hmm... my AH has the same issue. A few times, I have found the switch on and the light off. As mentioned, shutting it off and on made it work again. I just came back from a week-long trip and it only happened the first day. I guess I'll just wait to see if it happens again, and look for red lights. Replacing a switch sounds a lot better.
Never tried heating the coach while driving - it's usually an issue of cooling.

Ours does this too on occasion but I've determined it's the switch. Even though the switch is 'on' pressing down the ON with your finger would illuminate the light. So I cycled the switch in an aggressive manner a few times. Seems to be better now.

to all those stating that there green lights are also going out periodically, I have talked to entegra and they say this is not normal.. if the green light is not on then your burner is not activated to go on and off as needed to heat the water. probably an issue worth finding..
I am going to my local aqua hot dealer tomorrow and have them take a look at the system
will post the results....

Entegra and AH knows it's not normal but can they fix it?
I have had the same problem for the last 8 months, Chuck my problem is not in the switch. We were at Entegra in May and they worked on it for 3 weeks and still couldn't get it fixed. Finally I had enough and we continued on our six month Western trip, over the last eight months the switch has tripped over 40 times or more. Over this same period AH has replaced the stir pump 2 times and the nozzle 3 times. In addition they me replace the Control Unit (WXP-287-962) and the Lid Switch, unit was still turning off. When we got back to Florida I had Hitching Post (an authorized AH repair center) go through the unit. At this time I don't know the results since the coach has been in storage, but in a couple of weeks we plan on taking a trip to Hilton Head, I guess we'll find out then. I will say that sometimes the unit will run for 3 weeks without shutting down and then it may shut off 4 times in 2 days. Al

here is my posting to the green light issue--- went to the aqua hot dealer and the only thing that was off was the boiler fluid was low.(about half gallon) they checked the nozzle- it was clean-
all connections in wiring were tight-
so - no real solution- and as to al,s post now I am a bit worried that this might be a on going issue.. I guess will see if it keeps happening. anybody else out there with this issue
please share!!!!
