Another CS 45 Y Delivery

TX Bart and I were a few days apart. Here is our report:

The first day: Our leg was from NIRVC in Lawrenceville, GA, Northeast of Atlanta to Meridian MS, a distance of about 315 miles. We stopped a few times along the way so the trip took about 6 hours. We dare not use words like “easy” “simple” or “flawless;” however, we have a log for our punch list but there’s nothing on it!

There is one cushion that is not up to snuff on the L sofa and the workmanship under the passenger seat (Which only shows when it is turned around) leaves a bit to be desired. We saw those before we left and decided to hold off.

The PDI process was also pretty incredible. I’ve never seen a dealership so busy but so focused on their customers. There were multiple deliveries going on. We began late on Monday. We had many things that we wanted to test/verify and most were perfect. As we expected there were a few Vegatouch idiosyncrasies that had to be worked out, and the team – led by Justin Townley – took care of everything. Air Force 1 was already set up on the coach and it was added our Enclave. Our Progressive Industries Power Monitor was added just as we asked as were our Firestick and our TPMS.

We tested the AGS and it worked flawlessly.

We had the rock guard raised and the zerks greased. (IMHO that should be a delivery item but we paid for it.)

Todd Springs and Ken Pennachio also kept a close eye on us – not an easy task!

We love the “Y.” Storage is amazing. Cheryl is in love with the Cashmere interior – I was a bit skeptical but I am a convert for sure.

We were worried about this coach after a few (ahem) issues with our previous coach and Entegra really delivered.

The driving was a dream. 7.3 mpg according to the computer so take that with a grain of salt, but very acceptable for a first leg and still showing four DEF bars.

We’re off to Lewisburg after a visit to Vicksburg (A good shakeout trip).
Thanks to Entegra, NIRVC and all your staff.

I have seen a round trim item that would cover that nicely - will find one somewhere. Maybe I can get a volume discount and send some to Middlebury!!

PS - Yours was worse than ours - we've just covered it with a lovely wrapping paper!! At least it doesn't affect the use of the coach.

Cheryl & Emerson - Wish we could have stayed an extra day to meet you! We beat you on MPG with 7.6 but added 7.5 gallons of DEF at about 750 miles. We’re thrilled with the condition and performance of our coach!

Grrrrrr - didn't reset the mpg before we left and it sat running while we were trained on the AF1 (We're slow learners)......

We're at a KOA in Meridian - half the campground wanted a walkthough!

See you down the road.

Maybe I took unfair advantage. I reset mine after DPF REGEN ACTIVE cleared. It was 7.3 when that appeared and ran down to 6.2 during that.

Nice report and congratulations Emerson. You and Vance are getting better mileage than my 450. I only get 7.3 with a lot less weight and engine.

Looking forward to pictures!
