Another ISX campaign-C1794

Up fit fuel pump roller tappets. Have you had it done? Maybe the reason my fuel usage so poor recently?? Barely getting 5.5 MPG.

Here's what I found from Cummins QuickServe. I saved it as a PDF and put it on my Google Drive. No mention of what year/serial numbers affected. I have not heard anything from Cummins.

Still getting 6.81247 mpg here :-)

Just an heads up for other Cummins owners. My dealer never registered my purchase with Cummins. Until I stopped by a Cummins Ocala, I had never been notified about updates or campaigns as Cummins didn't have a clue who I was. I had such a wonderful dealer......not!

If you are not sure if your dealer registered you as the engine owner, call Cummins and register. There were 13 updates to my engine that I was never notified about.

Who did you call? Phone number?
Do they need VIN and engine serial number when you call? The only way to really know is to call Cummins.
Thanks

There is an ID tag behind the drivers seat on the left side console. Cummins will need the engine serial number. Cummins phone number can be found in the Cummins manual or on the internet. Or you can stop at any Cummins Coach Care with the engine number, check for updates and register which is what I did.

With the VIN, A coach Care facility can check for any Spartan campaigns.

Your welcome.
I called my local Coach Care facility which is in Ocala FL. They were the ones to tell me my engine was never registered by my dealer.

I stopped by the Cummins booth at the Tampa RV show in January and gave the tech rep my engine serial number and asked about outstanding recalls or campaigns and he said there was none. Yesterday I was in Cummins trying to resolve a fault code issue caused by a Allison transmission update and the service manager told me I have had a campaign recall for ECM on my motor for the past 18 mos. I registered my motor. They know my address. WTFO.

That's two in this post with an Allison update....bet my wonderful dealer didn't register that one either as I have not heard for Allison. Now I have to find the serial number for that and call Allison too.

Who handles the Allison updates, Cummins or Spartan?

I am leary of messing with anything. I havn't gotten a single ECM/TCM tweak in 2 1/2 years and it all runs fine as far as I can tell.

The enemy of good is better.
