Anthem 44 or 42?

I just checked out MHSRV website they have 29 Anthems in various stages of delivery, In Stock. Arriving soon or on order, of that 29, 23 are 42's and 6 are 44's.
I did some quick math a 44 (actually 45' 1") is roughly $7470.00 per ft, or 336,911.00
a 42 (Actually 43' 1") is roughly $7724.00 per ft, or 332,911.00
So I'm wondering why I would buy a 42, when in effect it cost more per FT. ??,
that extra 2' is only $2000.00 per ft, its almost like they just throw it into the deal, of course if you go by SQ. FT they only cost about $883.00 per whew.....now I feel better.

Those of you who purchased, is it that much harder to drive, park, ect a 45' over the 43' or was it the floor plan??

Just by looking at whats on order, I would guess most prefer a 43'

Way to much math there...its about floor plan, and a slightly larger living room area I believe. In the end you still need to work a deal for a lower price than their "special" price. If you're persistent enough or you catch them on a good day, and you like the 44 floor plan better, maybe you can better the 42 price...who knows.

We think the extra 2 ft is a bargain and pick our 44DLQ up friday. We had a 45 ft Travel Supreme and loved it, no harder to drivr ir park than our current 43. Just our experience.

In our case total length while towing. Also preferred the bath layout on the 42DLQ vs 44.

Ours was a floor plan decision with the living area arrangement and 40" TV over the fireplace in the DEQ. That said, the bath and desk with TV lift option and Eurochair (although I'd replace them with a more comfortable lounger) is an appealing alternative, and the DW really liked "booth" dinette. I'd have preferred a larger TV on the lift.

Either way, it seems tough to go wrong...we'll find out in a couple weeks.
