As noted there are other features that also make me have a bit of envy: Automatic sliding storage trays for example and the leveling is much more solid.
Right now we are debating whether to get a new 17. We've made so many of the mods that Pat, Dusty and others have outlined and some of our own that it is really hard to see why we would spend the additional $$.
I like the idea of more power and several other things, but it is a real quandary for us. But it sure is a nice quandary to deal with!

Tkmcdon,
I will diverge with most of the the space issue answers. The DEQ Anthem has the most square feet in the salon/living room/galley of all of the coaches since the unit only has a single bath. The RBQ is close to the DEQ, but all of the bath and a half units have less space to live in up front. They push back two feet and squeeze the front a little, and then shoehorn in the half bath....so you get less space to "live" in....and they don't offer that floorplan in a Cornerstone.
In the end, you'll need to decide what compromises are best for you.
Marcosdad is right on the money! DW and I opted for the big Salon.

We opted for a larger front living area as well. In the Anthem models, that was the 44dlq, being almost 2 ft longer than the rbq, and a single bath, it offers a larger front living area.

Anthem vs Cornerstone
We bought a 2013 Anthem and in 26 months drove 49,000 miles, mostly business trips and after a couple of mechanical issues we moved up to a 2015 Cornerstone. We stayed with the same floor plan but there was a couple of storage differences, like a clothes hamper, more towel storage in the bath area better capacity in the pantry (2 vs 1) so the changes were very much appreciated.
The K 3 chassis used on the Cornerstone is a lot stronger, the ride is more stable, the Hadley levelling is a great feature, but the power train is more reliable in a critical area. The cooling fan is driven mechanically rather than by hydraulics that is shared by the power steering. We had a complete loss of hydraulic fluid and luckily it happened pulling into our shop or we would have been stuck in the boonies we had just came from. I could possibly drive the Cornerstone without power steering to a repair facility but without cooling the Anthem was dead in the water.
Hill climbing ability is the best I have ever experienced, an example is coming east from Bakersfield, CA to Tehachapi the grade will pull an Anthem lightly loaded pulling a CUV down to under 40 mph for miles before the top of the overpass. The Cornerstone just yawns and comes down a gear and maybe 2 mph. Fuel mileage is maybe .5 mpg less in the 13,000 miles I have driven. Another great thing is the ability to travel at 55 mph in 6th gear, the Anthem won't do that, the Cornerstone will climb a 5% grade at 55 in 6th gear, I just did it last week. I'm very impressed with the overall difference of stability in cross winds also. Another great thing is ease of driving off cruise control the ISX engine responds almost car like to throttle inputs vs the ISL that needs a lot of throttle pressure to accelerate even slightly, I almost always used cruise in the ISL case because it was so tiring to drive off cruise.
The brakes are also superior being all disc, my tire wear looks much better due to the less bouncing over heaves in the road surface.
If the price delta is doable I think the Cornerstone is worth the extra, if I was faced with the choice, I would buy a 2015 Cornerstone over a new Anthem due to my experience.

Don:
Time to change the signature, I think.
After reading your post, I expected to see the Cornerstone in your signature and instead saw an Anthem.... had to read the whole thing again to figure out what you were talking about.

They make a right lane for for a reason, for those of us with only 450 hp units.
I just liked the floor plan and options on the Anthem 42 RBQ better then the 44 DLQ, the Cornerstone was a great unit I just liked the Anthem better.
Best wishes on your purchase.

Yes and another problem you don't have with the 450 is the increased tire wear due to spinning the wheels at stop lights on the Cornerstone

I have had the Automatic Traction Control kick in.
But that was taking off from stoplights in the rain.
The only way I can break the tires loose in the dry is by spinning donuts.

You are going to absolutely love any Entegra product, but I'm biased towards the Cornerstone. The power, comfort, and many amenities make this the best buy for the money at this price point. Enjoy!
