X2 on water softener. Added an On the Go earlier this year along with an inexpensive in line filter it grab the sediment...that with a squee gee after each shower and DW doesn't have to clean but maybe once a month.

Hard water and sediment are the enemy, and, JMHO, must exist in every RV park nationwide:(

Not a truer word spoken. It's like they add minerals to the water to be able to get there building permits.

Steam cleaning does wonders. Added water softener and squeegee after every shower.

Look at FMCA International for the steam cleaner. It's a hand held unit. Medarda uses it at home too.

In our experience Rain X will help keep the crud from sticking to the glass but won't keep things sparkling by itself. Now we don't bother with it and after every use just squeegee the glass doors and walls with a water blade and towel dry the 5% where the squeegee can't go, then every few weeks hit it with scrubbing bubbles or something similar that dissolves any crud buildup in the nooks and crannies. Only adds a couple minutes to the daily routine.

Have a second Water Blade for the front windshield which handles the curved glass nicely.

Most Wal-Mart stores stock this water blade: Pilot Soft-N-Dry Water Blade, 11" - Walmart.com

I just wipe the glass down with one of these Absorbers ( Absorber High Performance Drying Towel - Walmart.com ) after each shower. Keeps it perfectly clean and clear.
It's like an artificial chamois available in the auto section.
