The Entegra reps at the Tampa show were pretty tight lipped about the 2016s. I think last year they got burned when they showed the 15s early in the year and they had a bunch of 14s on lots that didn't seem to move.
They did say they would accept down payments now for a 16 model. They just wont describe what changes it will have! They said they will start assembling 16s starting in April that should deliver in June.

On my wish list would be a refinement of the sewer hose system and using MCD instead of United shades. Pretty short list actually. I have applied my own fix for the sewer hose system and (knock on wood) have only lost one shade motor. I'm lucky.

I think they are already applying that mod, mid-year, as I saw OceanMoho on New Year's Eve here in Vegas...he just had his 15 Cornerstone delivered and it had the sewer mod, but he was having a few additional changes made to it to make it better, I believe. You might PM him for a better explanation.

At the Tampa show they hinted strongly that the '16s will have a different shade supplier. They also pledged that they will continue to support owners with United shades well beyond the two year warranty period.

Like dave said 16 will have that problem solved. Scott was in vegas from the factory confirmed it on new years. We are waiting on a quote for our 2016. Cs

I was there at the owners meeting when Tad Jenkins said they would stand behind their choice of shades after your warranty runs out. Despite that, I might replace a few of the higher use shades with MCD shades down the road, post warranty. I will generate a few spare parts for the other shades.
Has anybody out there changed out their shades to another brand? I'm wondering what is required electrical wise.

I would think with all the problems with the shades I've been hearing about that Entegra would have a solution already! This seems to be going on for a long while. It's great they'll support the shades after the two year warranty period, but it should just not be happening this long without a fix. I would hope that if Entegra did change to a new shade that works, they'd figure out a way to offer that change to the coach owners having an issue with their shades. I'd like to hear from Entegra on this issue and how they plan on dealing with this issue! This issue is one of those that are just a PITA & irritating and my Cornerstone 2015 coming off the line in mid February I'm already getting wondering if I'm going to have the shade issue.

If you have a question, don't ask us, ask Entegra!

Now I'll try to "unspin" some folks. At the Entegra owners meeting Tad Jenkins said Entegra recently bought and setup 2 traveling service vans. These vans roam around the country, somewhat in sync with the Snowbird and summer migrations. He said they show up to fix owners issues and when the owners issues are fixed they may knock on your RV door to ask if they can do anything to help your Entegra!
Recognize it's easy to write about the negative. How often do you read about the positive? When is the last time you called your plumber to say everything is working good at your house? How often does the AC repairman get a complimentary call, or does he only get called by angry people?

Knock on wood...6 months in on our 2015 CS and no shade problems. Probably shouldn't say anything.

As Dave Has indicated, Entegra has gone to great lengths to modify the sewer hose option. They flew Scott out to Las Vegas to modify a few things on New Years Eve day. They also chose to fly him to Indio again a week later to continue the modification. He was there for 3 days fine tuning things! I can honestly say that shows commitment to evolve these coaches beyond any other manufacturer that I have experienced. I have driven 3 other brands into extinction! I continue to love the CS. I don't know if CS is short for Cornerstone or Customer Service, so I will go on board to say that I like them both.
They have changed the routing of the hose where the elbow is on the passenger side. The hose now travels a less severe route from the holding tanks to the carrier channel. This has relieved the bunching up of the hose at that elbow that was creating a lot of resistance preventing the last part of the hose to go into the receiver on the drivers side. They also put a check valve in allowing you to push air in as you push in the last bit of hose in keeping the valve in the pistol head closed. Air goes out the vent.....the last bit of water stays in the hose, not spilling, and the hose which is about 20 feet net, fits in nicely now. Kudos for their efforts and commitment! I am also confident that the same level of support and evolution will happen on the shade motors!!
I sure am glad to see these kind of efforts, the ones attending to the way that we run these coaches, as opposed to only cosmetic changes!

In my opinion you guys need to post some of your Entegra customer service experiences on a couple of other not so favorable post. Noel
