wow, I feel like the odd man out. we love our Anthem....BUT... we have had it for 14 months now, only 10 more month left on the warranty.. we have had it back to our dealer 8 times with many items to repair/replace. several of the items are repeats. we have never had a trip that afterwards we didn't take it coach back to the dealer for repairs and fixes (coach has 14K)

ie.
leaky driver side window
paint bubble on rear cap
paint is very sensitive to scrathes
huge "buckle" on top of front cap
slides on passenger side are miss aligned, rubbing metal on metal
seals on these slides keep being pulled off when opening and closing
frig locks keep breaking
nav system clock doesn't work
pocket doors constantly being rehung/refit
passenger cargo door latches are hard to close and open (driver side OK)
water hose had smell and bad taste
warping under living room window (outside)
co-pilot seat swivel latch has broken 4 times
main awning miss aligned, probally related to slide problems
water pump coming loose, pipes rattle
3 places where paneling coming apart at seams
outside TV compart leaks
night and day shades constantly need adjustment
rear toilet lid keeps coming loose, to fix requires removal of toilet
driver side fuel fill neck is warped, cap does make tight fit, fuel leaks out
looses air "fast" and takes 20-40 minutes to get coach to air up
aqua hot diesel side quit working
need diagnostics done on electric side of aqua hot
awning over entry door leaked
a/c noisey...vibration kits on order
trim and latch around entry door needs reworked
tag axle on both sides leak (spartan rep can't find anything wrong)
zone 1 of aqua hot furnace didn't work
etc.
etc.
etc.

Just an FYI - we also thought the controls were mislabeled. Turns out they stand for "Door Side" and "Opposite Door Side." Go figure. "Drivers Side would have just been too obvious I guess.

Oh my! I cannot believe that DS = Door Side! We also thought ours were wired backwards. Thanks for the info.

Was told opposite drivers side in demo. I just flipped the switches so the label read that way, but the remote control is still different. Guess I'll switch them back. Thx

Lp5151, I strongly urge you to take your coach to the factory. They WILL get it fixed right. For instance, it sounds like your dealer is replacing the plastic fridge catches with more of the same. The factory has developed a positive lock made of stainless steel, the door WILL NOT come open with it engaged and it will not break. Your problems are beyond the ability of any dealer and you need A factory fix. Keep us Posted what the factory works out for you, nobody should have so many problems. I know it is a long way to go but I do not think there is an option to get. It fixed right in this special caes.

HOLD THE PRESSES AND FORGET MOST OF THE ABOVE!!
I see you are at the factory NOW! Congratulations!! I. Think you will be very glad you made the long trek to the factory. Give them a chance, I am confident they will make a happy owner of you.

Ann n Gene, we're planning a trip to the factory after the new year to have them go thru our coach and fix a few things. How many days typically should a person plan on being there? Do they get right to it?

I just finished a 4000 mile three week trip logging 72 hours behind the wheel averaging 55 mph over the 4000 miles. The last 1200 miles was done in 1.5 days averaging 65 mph for that leg. This puts me at a little over 20,000 miles for the year, and no problems. The only thing I need to fix is the water valve on the toilet since it has a tendency to let water past and fill up the bowl. This coach is great, and I drive it like I stole it. Most of the miles this year have been with a 5000 pound trailer attached to the back.

Bought ours in Dec 2010....took it back to the factory with about 80 items to be looked at in June of 2011. Now we are headed back to the factory for another 50 or so items before the warranty is out. Then it's for sale. I will say none of the items were life threatening.....just too many for a new coach.

If my typing skills were better I would list them.

Not to be rude, how can 130 things be wrong with a coach? I have the attitude that nothing in life is perfect, so deal with the things you need to and enjoy life. Personally I am driving my coach and living in it too much to spend time going over it with a magnifying glass.

I had a customer a week ago who was so anal retentive that I could do nothing to make him happy since I cant fix OCD. Other customers were making fun of him as well because he was off the charts. I hope you aren't like that because you will never find perfection when you are talking about a machine.

Terry O, assuming you. Have an appointment they will stsrt ononday 6am with the writeup and likely move the coach onto a bay. They will then evaluate all issurs and order all parts that they know they will need. They will do a complete pdi and likely fix things you did not now were not right. Bottom line, if you have more than very minor issues or issues requiring parts or vendors to come and sevice items they supply you should plan to spend the week.

Lp5151, sorry, iisunderstood! I really urge plan B. i do not thonl you will be happy imtil you do. With all your issues i would ask Joyce in customer service for Entegra to pay your expenses to go to the factory,

Gene

I am at the factory now. Just as Gene said, the morning started about 6:30 with our write up and as we were walking the coach Joyce looks over several LITTLE THINGS that I had not even noticed and says "I don't like this, we'll take care of it." The coach was back in our parking spot by 3:00 and they had already taken care of a good part of the list and done some things that needed time to set and would be tested tomorrow. Other owners are here and have helped me understand some of the working parts and also helped me identify some things that will be taken care of. I realize that I am so new to all of this that I may not know what all to ask, but they are asking me questions to make sure that everything is being handled. We also got the factory tour today and that has helped more thatn anything so far to understand how complicated this whole process is, but it also helped to make us more comfortable with all of the workings of the coach. As stated in other posts, my wife and I bought this coach because of the company and the reputation that the Bontrager family brings to the deal and so far we have not been disappointed. Our coach is not perfect, but it's close enough for me (sounds like a country song). We are having a ball---Thank You Lord !!!

I suggest you keep it that way...having the trailer out front will definitely slow you down some. Maybe.
