Doug, congratulations!!! You got a fantastic coach at a great price, enjoy it for many years to come.

We kinda did the same as you, bought and ran. It was just really hard to get outta their driveway.

Good for you.

Everyone here has been very nice and professional. Also we saved thousands over the other 3 quotes we got. Aaron Green was our salesperson, he did a very good job.

Thanks, Doug
Glad to hear everything went well

The question that started this blog was, "How is Dixie RV to do business with?"

This site is getting really bad at pushing the same dealership for evey question asked.

This is a great site to get information for your coach. There are wonderful sorces of experts here.

It should not be an advertising source for one dealership.

I see your point. just for grins, I looked back thru the posts and here is the "score": Dixie RV was mentioned in 11 out of 47 posts whereas NIRVC was mentioned in 14 out of 47 posts.

I believe that "most" of the 11 contained negative opinions about Dixie RV while "most" of the 14 were positive opinions about NIRVC.

IMO, both dealerships got the attention they have earned.

I'm happy the OP was treated well by Dixie RV....perhaps it IS possible for a leopard to change its spots! The OP is happy with the deal he got, so that is all that really matters.

OBTW, "this site" ( iRV2.com ) does not control what opinions are expressed here, as long as they don't violate community rules.

I agree Robin, maybe other dealerships should step up and offer better service after the sale and be more open about the deal on the coach in the first place. We certainly need more honest and open dealers that are concerned with servicing their customers after the sale. All JMHO

I'm happy Doug had a good experience, proof that any dealer can do things right if they desire.

We waited 4 months for plates.

My comments aren't baseless, just our experience. We signed, then dropped from their radar.

Dixie has all the pieces to be a powerhouse dealer. I hope they are systematically improving things.

We've bought from 2 dealers whom we won't darken their doorstep again. We've had service at another dealer whom we've never bought from, and our experience was as close to perfect as could be expected.

The best advertisement is a promise kept.

You might have a point if it was baseless adulation. It's not.

Hopefully not piling on here, but it seems the majority of the concern is regarding after sale service and support.

I am at NIRVC's RV resort, spa and country club in Texas. Although some of the rigs I see here have that small blue NIRVC "origination" tag on them, many or maybe most are from some other dealer. I'm sure that Brett/Angie and crew would prefer to sell you your rig, but what his business model is really built on is the the service/storage/detail concept which happens after the sale. Is that forcing imitation? I hope so
