I checked all the fuses in the back compartment and all were fine

When I jump the solenoid then I have a light on the salesman switch

Take the jumper off and no power

I will put up some pictures in the morning of both solenoids

The light in the switch shows that power is getting through by jumping the solenoid. It sounds like that solenoid is bad. If you can pull the switch, check the continuity of the switch itself. If the countiuty is good, that only leave the solenoid.

Power is getting to the solenoid, so the fuse is good.
Power is getting to the coach when the solenoid is jumped, so the wiring is good.
No jump wire= no power. Either the switch is not turning on the solenoid, or the solenoid is not turning on. Nothing else in the line that I know if to cause the problem.

It sounds like your switch is supposed to send a ground signal based on comments.

If that is the case you will see voltage on both little terminals on the solenoid when it is NOT activated.

Pull one little wire off carefully and then measure each small wire. One should have voltage and the other none.

Put the wire back on. Then use a jumper from ground to the little post that did not have voltage. It will activate.

If this is the case then you have a built in signal to trace the issue.
Remove the ground jumper. This will allow the voltage to pass through the coil in the solenoid and you have the 12 volts now going out to the switch.

Using your voltmeter at the switch you should read the 12 volts on one or more of the pins. Once you find which pins have the voltage then change to ohms scale and see which pins are close to 0 ohms. If none are close to 0 ohms then your ground is messed up and is a possibility based on your symptoms.

Here is what I did. Hey hooked up the original disconnect then ran a jumper from the small white wire on the disconnect to ground. Then I ran a jumper from the battery side of the disconnect to the small red wire on top of the disconnect

Power came on. I removed both jumpers and power stayed on

I try turning off the salesman switch and it never turns power off

I am thinking maybe a bad switch

Does this sound right?

My 16 Aspire has a "Big Boy" house power disconnect solenoid which can be controlled by either of two switches. One switch is in the entry step well and lights up as red when power is on and goes black when power is off. The other switch is beside the driver position.
When my disconnect switch began failing, pressing either switch would blow a 5 (or perhaps it was a 10) amp mini fuse found in the outside fuse compartment in front of the driver side steer tire. I THINK it was fuse # 7, but not sure of the position number or the amp rating of the fuse. Replacing the fuse did not "fix" the problem since it was the disconnect itself that was shorted. However, on mine, momentarily jumping the 2 lugs on the disconnect restored power to the coach and the power remained on until a new "Big Boy" could be installed under warranty, thanks to EC and NIRVC. Hope this helps with your situation. Ed

If its a latching relay, like in the picture below, and it sounds like it is, the small terminal marked with " I " will need positive and the other need negative to latch ON. To unlatch ( open ) it, you need to reverse the polarity.

Remove both, connect to a digital volt meter and operate the switch. See if the voltage reverses. It should.

If it don't, it is the switch or wiring to it.

I wanted to thank everyone for chiming in on this request. All fixed and working

I pulled all wires off the switch and crimped each connector again. The wires were all tight but for some strange reason all is working as it should. I still ordered a new switch just to be safe as my best guess is the switch is the problem

Thanks again
