Aqua Hot 450

New to me Entegra Anthem 2011 first with Aqua hot. This is the first trip with our coach using the heat. I am amazed how often the unit runs seamed every 5 min. is this normal it also seams that the burner fires for about 10 min. then runs without burner for another 5 min. any help would be great.

Mine isn't as new as yours, hydro-Hot, but same principle. It depends on how cold it is outside, how much hot water is being used at the time. I run mine with both the diesel burner and electric element on. However, mine only runs for about a minute when the diesel burner turns off. So, 5 minutes sounds like longer then I would expect. I run the rear zone at a lower temp when not in use with the door closed and the front zone higher. So, I heat where I am the most. Usually the rear zone heats the basement, so don't turn it down to low.

The diesel burner in your Aqua-Hot will run as needed to add heat energy into the coolant tank. How often / how long it runs is entirely dependent on how much heat energy you are using to heat coach or to make hot water.

If you turn off the zone in the front / rear of the coach when you are in the other area, then it will run less often.

By design, when the flame in the burner shuts off, the motor will continue to run for about 3 minutes to cool down the combustion chamber.
