Aqua Hot 450-D will not fire up

My Aqua Hot 450-D will not fire up and start, it starts when the diesel switch is pushed, but immediately stops, nothing lights up on the Aqua Hot circuit board. Even the electric does not register on the board.

First thing to check is how much fuel you have in your tank.
AH will not fire if below 1/4.

Also check the fluid level in the expansion tank. Low boiler fluid will stop the burner from lighting. Also check the display panel to make sure you don't need a low voltage reset. Any red lights check burner status?

No lights on board may indicate a Filter issue. Although I would think the electric side should work. You may want to verify you have power to the board.

All good tips. Also try tapping the flow valves, they do stick. Here is the manual that may also give some help and shows locations of things to check. http://www.aquahot.com/aquahot.com/m...nual_REV_E.pdf

Plenty of fuel, boiler fluid is correct, is there a fuse somewhere in the system I have looked over the driver's seat and nothing in the half bath. Fuel filter has less than 10 hours...what about the control panel?

Hope it's not, but mine did that with a stir pump failure. Tommy

The hose to my stir pump was kinked. The hose on mine was located in the passenger bay just before the rear axles.

Might check the J2 plug on controller (bottom plug street side). I had that same issue earlier this year. Easily knocked partially loose. Give it a firm straight push with a finger.

Also sounds like it's been open recently (assuming did the nozzle and clean ten hours ago too), so I would check the plug to the computer module inside next tot he burner.
