Aqua hot issue

Not sure if anyone had issues with the Aqua hot system in the cold weather when you needed heat. Yup not fun when its 18 degrees out and the Aqua heat doesn't want to run. This happened to me last year also but thinking back it was right after I had my propane filled. It seems like I have an air pocket and the system will run for a minute then shut off. I had both switches turned on (electric and burner). I eventually got it running after turning the burner switch on and off about eight or nine times. Yup pain in the ass and not to mention my wife yelling at me because she was cold lol. Has anyone ever had a problem like this?? If so what do you think causes this?? I did fill it again with propane so Im thinking this is the problem getting an air pocket. It sucks but once it fired up all was well. It would make the sound like it wanted to run then it would blow cold air out then shut off. It sucks I live in New Jersey and its cold but we use this coach all season and love it. Its a 2017 Entegra Insignia. Just turned 17.000 miles so I use it. I have not had the Aqua hot serviced yet but im thinking when I make a trip out to Orlando in April I will get it serviced. Any thoughts much appreciated.

My 2015 has a LP AH. I've had to replace a few electric pumps but it's never failed me in the winter months. I've used mine numerous times on the road and last week it got down to -25 (wind Chill -40) and didn't have any trouble.

I have had something similar. My burner lights off and then shuts down after 3 to 5 seconds, 3 times in a row. After a while it would fire up. Check your flame sensor for carbon build up. On the LP model it is a thermistor type One screw and remove it and clean. They seldom fail just need cleaning. Hope this helps

On our Aspire, when it got really cold, the LP regulator would freeze up. An incandescent bulb in the compartment solved that problem.

Two things come to mind, if the problem is an air bubble, try lightning tour propane stove first (if you have one), then try AH again. Happened to us. Also, our regulator and high temp sensor went out. At first, it was intermittent, but later, once completely burned out, would try to start, then shut off. Pull the cover to see if you can find any loose or burnt wires. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Also double check your boiler fluid level. After a while the green fluid will discolor the plastic tank and it might appear to have more fluid in it than it does

When my rig has been stored a while, and colder temps, it can take cycling the Propane switch 6 or 7 times to get the AH propane to finally run. Like Marcosdad mentioned, light your stove to help get the propane flowing.

If you plug into shore power, turning on the electric element will help warm up the unit, and that also seems to help get the propane burner warm and happier to light, if it has been sitting.
