Aqua hot shutting off after ~1 HR
Good morning,
I have been sitting in cold climate (30's) preparing for a trip. I've had the AH on to keep the coach warm since the FW tank is full. I have ~1/4 tank of fuel. The AH turns off after ~1hr. Is this because the fuel is low? I know the genny will shut down when the tank is low.
Thanks in advance

Could be, but if low it should shut off right away not an hour later. Was the annual service preformed?

It will shut off at a 1/4 tank.

Not yet and I am thinking that is the problem. It's shutting down often even with a full tank

I guess I am a little confused, what are you referring to when you say shuts off after a hour. Are there any faults, electric side working, or gas burner not relighting? The burner will cycle off and on determined by the boiler fluid temperature. The electric side can keep the fluid up to temperature, thus increasing the time between burner run time

Mine is doing the same thing. Worked with Entegra CS and Aqua-Hot. I am getting mine serviced Monday down her in the Fla. Keys.

Buddy, if the AH burner ceases to function when there is a demand, and the switch is ON, but light is OFF, the unit is in “lockout”.
The most likely reason for Lockout is the need for a Routine Service.
The easy way to function test an AH Burner is to turn on a hot water valve all the way. Within 2-3 minutes, the burner should fire, and remain lit until there is no longer a demand for hot water.
If you fail this test, ensure the fuel is full and retest. If it still fails, service and retest.
Based upon your description, I’d skip right to a service. Shutting off after an hour is likely a problem with the filter or nozzle, or a low coolant level.
Good luck,
-Matt

Service is due, but it could also be a control module. Electric side is working, but diesel side shuts down

Just for sake of more information for you.....here is a post in another thread I responded to. I've provided the link, but go ahead and read the OP's post, and rest of the thread. There are similarities. Hope this is helpful in some way.

Thanks.
Fortunately my coach is going back to the mothership for warranty work. I'll add this to their list

Always try the simplest things first. It is due for service anyhow. Matt pretty much said it, service, then test. Hopefully the simple service fixes the problem. Learning from others, I carry a spare nozzle and filter. If a problem is going to start, it will be 200 miles from the nearest service.

As many suggested the annual service did the trick. The flame sensor was filthy and the nozzle dirty. We are all good now
Thanks everyone!
