Aspire Batteries

Has anyone converted the battery compartment over to a 6 battery arrangement.
When it comes time to replace my batteries I think I want to add 2 more batteries to a total of 6 but the space is tight. Any suggestion?

If anyone has made the conversion can you post some pictures?

I don't know how you'd do it space wise unless you buy all the hardware the Anthem uses and stack them. I went the route of switching out the wet cells for 4 - 400AH AGM, oh how sweet it is. No more corrosion and better battery storage capacity. The only possible drawback might be the weight. The 400AH AGM's are 90lbs each making the load on the slideout tray 360lbs. So far so good over the last year but you can tell that amount of weight on the slideout is its maximum.

Did you go with the Lifeline batteries or something different. Does it make a huge difference in the time the batteries last without recharging while dry camping? We go to some NASCAR events and I just get tried of having to start the Gen so often. Presently mine will not last all night without charging during the early morning hours.

Yes I went with the Lifeline AGMs. It makes a significant difference.

Haven't done ours yet, but would like to go to at least six, preferably eight AGMs. A couple of options - add another slide out drawer above existing, or perhaps use the small bay directly behind the battery compartment.
