Aspire front shocks
My front shocks need replacing and there is a ton of information on IRV2 on this topic. So much so that I am unsure which I need. So if you have make/model shock info, and even better with a supply source, I would appreciate it very much.
I have a 2015 Aspire with solid front axle and original shocks, 27K miles. I am taking it in for some other work next Monday so it would be great if I could get them quickly.
Thanks much!

Supply source: best I found online. They can give you the correct shock for your coach. Fast shipping all around sharp knowledge company to deal with. https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/Koni...eyco-IFS-Front
Don't pay any attention to model Koni in the link, it is what I had bookmarked.

I'm using the Koni FSD 8805-1018 on my 2016 Aspire, steer. Very nice shock and have used the FSD's on a previous MH. I installed them last Sept. 2018. As I recall they were the Koni replacements for All the Aspire I-beam Solid axle coaches. At that time there was not an EVO99 series available.
I got mine from Brazel's, "Ultra RV." Ask for John should you you have questions.

Followup and correction: the inspection document that detailed the shock problem said “front rear passenger shock bad”. I called the service place and they said it was a rear shock and easily seen because of the oil leakage.
Since I am unsure of the shock placement (my Monaco had 10 shocks) I tried to look but how it’s parked it is impossible to see the shock. So for those of you who know, does the Aspire have only two shocks in the rear? Or are there four, two for the duals and two for the tags? Sorry to ask so basic a question but it is important to me.

From SPARTAN brouchure:
Suspension Shock Absorber
Front: Reyco Granning 1600
Rear: Reyco Granning 240AR
Tag: Reyco Granning RT1330
Bilstein Shocks - Front, Rear, Tag (46mm)
Suggest you verify the leak and then call JON at Ultra

John if the Bilsteins are leaking on the rear they use to have a lifetime warranty. Worth checking.

I’ve been using a truck service center and they use Gabriel shocks on all their fleet trucks. Anyone have any experience with Gabriel shocks? It would be the simplest change for me as I’m in their shop for some other stuff anyway. I do believe there is a direct replacement from Greco Granning to Gabriel shocks,

Koni 99B 3209 is what you want for I-Bean front shocks.

John, I’d suggest changing only the fronts and having Bilstwin warranty the rear.

Having done just the fronts on a previous MH. I'd pay twice for the rears than what they charge. They make a huge difference. I've done all six on my 2012

When we were at Spartan in October they changed out the smaller Billsteins to a heavier version. They covered it on their dime. Now our rig is an ‘18 so I don’t know how they will handle an older coach, but it is something that may be worth pursueing.
