Aspire TVs and Sound Bars

A tad confused on the operation.

My bedroom TV has its own Dish box but I can't watch a different channel than the den. All TVs are on same channel. Also it won't change the channel in the BR. Have to go out to the den. Is it the in motion limitations with Dish Network? Different channel blocks? Or do I have something wired up wrong?

Also how can I get the dash bluetooth to play on more than just the front speakers? Is it possible to play whats playing on the dash on the sound bars mid coach and in the BR on my Aspire?

Someone mentioned that there was an electronics guru for Entegra at the factory. Anyone remember his name?

Thanks!

When you get customer service, ask for Mike. He is the go to guy on this type stuff.

You need to unplug the HDMI feed from the bedroom TV and run a HDMI cable from the bedroom DTV receiver to the bedroom TV.

Bama96 - I'll be glad to meet up and help if you can't get The answer from Entegra, I went from Dish to directv, back to dish, then ended up with directv. But I figured it out the wiring...mostly.

Your first receiver is wired to the HDMI distribution so it can send to all TV's When I wire in a second receiver I run a HDMI from it direct to the bedroom TV. So to watch it you switch HDMI inputs on the TV. If it is confusing you can label the inputs in the setup of the TV so that helps. The sound bar in the Aspire is wired to the dash radio and the TV and the Blueray player. However Dash Radio and Blueray are secondary. what that means is if there is signal from the TV it will be what the sound bar plays. If the TV and Blueray are off and the sound bar is on than it will play the radio unless it has had the wiring changed.

Back to the Sat issue you can only watch channels on the sat the front receiver is watching so if front receiver is watching something on 119 the only channels you can watch on the rear are on 119. one other quirk is the rear receiver needs to be setup on the front LNB then moved to the rear. When I set them up on Dish I setup a receiver on LNB 1 then move it to the rear and setup the second receiver in the front. Both receivers should pass a chk sw and show SW 64 on the front LNB then one is moved to the rear.
I hope that helps.

You can hear the audio from the in-dash sound system through both Bose Soundbars. All that is needed is the respective TVs need to be turned off. Since the dash system controls the volume level, turn the dash system up and then turn each Bose system up too using the Bose remote. Works really well.

Thanks! Dang didn't realize it was this complicated.

I understand the sat limits due to one LMB but was scratching my head over why I couldn't change the channel on a separate box and tv

1. You most likely have your DTV received plugged into the "HDMI to all TV" plug. In the bedroom, plug your DTV receiver into a different HDMI port and choose that HDMI on your TV. This way, if you want to change the input to the main DTV box on your bedroom TV, you can go back and fourth.

2. Yes, press menu, you will see Aux and Home, press home. You will hear music on your home theatre in the main area if its on. You must use that remote to adjust the sound. If on Aux, sound will be on the front stereo speakers.

3. Ask for Mike. I was at my PDI last week and spoke to Mike. He was in my coach showing the "how to's" of the electronics.
