Aspire w/Security System?

At Entegra's web site for the Aspire it lists Security System under the Safety Equipment tab. What is it? Does it actually have one? Does it work? Does it make you feel safer when you leave your rv unattended? Thanks...

It does have one, it does work, and it makes us more comfortable not only when we leave the coach, but also when we are sleeping. Only drawbacks we have found is that the dogs could set it off by touching the steering wheel (solved by swiveling the driver's seat) and the owner's can forget to disarm it before taking the dogs out early in the morning (no solution in sight...) Doesn't make you popular with the neighbors but it does help jog the memory for a few days.

The sensitivity is adjustable. At first we would have a false alarm every night. The dealer adjusted it, now all is good. Nothing like being awaken suddenly and trying to quickly find the off button in the dark without your glasses. It's amazing how many things your toes can find in the dark.

When you are inside the coach, how do you activate the alarm?

Either with the remote control velcro'd beside the light control panel above your head in bed or with the key fob.

That's what I was hoping. We just throw the deadbolt on the door and rely on 2 large black German Shepherds to act as our alarm.
