Bike Rack Recommendations?

We bought a ladder bike rack for our Entegra and it does a terrible job. It was not very expensive and doesn't work well. The handle bars touch the paint on the coach. Any recommendations on a good one?

We use a bike rack that fits in the hitch. It works great for us, but we don't tow anything.

We have a Thule bike rack that fits the Reese hitch on the back of our toad/motorhome for our everyday bikes. My husband's road bike takes up a whole slide out drawer in the basement! It's special!

We bought one of these based on company recommendations from others. Liked the fact they are made in USA. Should be here in the next few days. http://www.saris.com/en/bike-racks/v...&category_id=8

Yup ... could happen. I have what is probably the same rack. I have added 2 pieces of "pool noodle" to the ladder and 2 pieces to the bike frame. Bike grips are now at least 3 inches from coach body. Every coach is a bit different.

After using a ladder mounted, I'm thinking of buying one that fits the hitch on my Explorer that I tow.

Originally purchase a ladder mount bike rack but decided not to use it. Did not care for the way the bike mounted to it and the possibility of it scratching the paint with the handlebars. Prefer the one that fits in the receiver hitch on the toad.

I've also seen a lot of Yakima bike racks which look pretty sturdy.

We have the same set up but have a Swagman rack.

We have a 2 inch splitter in the MH hitch. From the splitter, the Blue Ox for the toad and the Swagman for the mountain bikes. The road bike takes up the slide out drawer! :-)

We use a Thule rack on our toad, that way we can take the bikes for rides away from the MH.

We've got a Swagman from RVupgrades. Works quite well.
