Black Tank Filling

This past week I've had to drain the black tank every couple of days. Last night the black tank showed 4%, this morning it is at 36%. I've sent an email to Entegra but while waiting for them, has anyone seen this before or know what might be causing it?

Sounds like you have a toilet valve leaking.
Shut the shore water valve off if and turn the on board water pump on. Does the pump run then shut off and stay off or start, run and shut off continually?

LETMEGROW's guess is a good one. Give that a try.

Also, I have had my "SeeLevel" gauges simply give markedly bad values at times. Sometimes something sticks to the inside of the tank around the sensors and seems to distort the reading. Sometimes, it makes no sense at all.... Think of those possibilities if LETMEGROWs suggestion does not work.

Unless someone had some chili and was sleepwalking to the bathroom at night I didn't mean to take this thread to the sewer. Oops. sorry again

I couldn't resist. I don't mean to make light of your problem.
I vote for a thorough flushing of the black tank.

Well I just went in to recheck it, and it now reads 21%, down from 36%. Guess it could be something going on with the Sealevel gauge but flushed it twice after emptying the tank.
Sorry Ken, no chili last night LOL!

My black tank will not "empty" to less than 36%. I'm sure it is a sensor issue, and will have it looked at the next time I'm at NIRVC (October)

Access to the black is only through the toilet or the sprayer, which is it? Or the gauge is mis reading, pretty easy to figure out.

If nothing is leaking, before leaving home or wherever, take a bag of ice and put it down the toilet along with some dawn. Drive to your next stop, flush the tank and empty. Sometimes the sensors just need a little cleaning help.

Not sure about your 2017 Aspire but on my 2012 Aspire both bathroom sinks drain into the black tank

Ditto on bathroom sinks dumping into black tank. I am also annoyed with quick filling of black with minimal toilet use. Don Brubaker enlightened me many years ago about bathroom sinks. Brush your teeth and shave in the kitchen sink if dry camping......😀 (if your wife will let you)

Does your tank have a flush system built into it?

The Thetford Tecma macerator toilet in the rear bath is a water hog! I use the front bath when I can which, at least in my 2012, has a conventional RV toilet which consumes a lot less water per flush.

Well it looks like it is a sensor issue as a few hours after I had checked it and it was at 36%, it had dropped to 21% then a couple of hours later it was up to 50%. Guess it's time for a good cleaning.
