I have used the RICher method since the first coach and it does work well. Maybe a seminar about this issues is in order for the rallies.

You are saying two different things.
Bad reading, and not emptying completely.

First thing I would try is a tank cleaning wand. It has a 90 deg
Bend, so you can stick it down the mid bath and aim it at the sensors and the drain.

Keep a clear fitting on the sewer hose and watch for debris.

Also aim it at the drain, the high presure should dislodge any solids.

Chemicals may not help you now.

To properly clean a tank you will need a very high pressure wand (3,000 lbs or so) and a tip that shoots forward and in a circle so it gets to all areas of the tank. Some tanks have lips and shelves that make them very hard to clean. I think Entegra tanks are not that complicated and do not have crazy shapes that will hold debris easily. A good tank cleaning company will have a camera and can do a good job of inspecting their work. Cost to do both tanks is probably around $200 which given the time it could take and the expense of the equipment much less doing the job isn't too bad. I saw a gray tank cleaned and could not believe all the hard cake like debris that came out. They say that most folks never flush their gray tanks and it leads to build up of minerals.

If you sit for awhile, fill your waste tanks.
Add a cup or two of Calgon to each tank along with a cup of Pine Sol.
Drive it for half an hour.
Add a half bottle of RIDEX to each waste tank.
Drive for another half-hour.
Let it sit for a month.
Go dump the tanks.

Drain and refill and drain again.

Either you have sludge buildup on the sides and bottom, or your tank sensors are fouled.

It also helps to back flush with gray water when you dump.....sounds like buildup of the dreaded "cake" on the bottom of your black tank.
