Sweetandsour is (are?) correct. I asked the question and the response was momentary unless you hear the tank expelling water or other contaminants.

I wish you guys can make up your mind as first it was drain each lanyard completely now just shortly if no moisture. Oh well, too late for me this time

I had the same setup on the Travel Supreme. Water will be at the bottom of the tank, not the top. A quick pull of the lanyard is all that is needed to check for moisture. Also if the pop-off valve when you air up, spits a wet oil residue the air dryer filter is due to be changed. Many of us added an extension hose on the Classics, now standard on the newer models, the wet spot will be on the ground below that hose.

I live in FL where it is very humid. In 11 years, I never had moisture come out of the tanks even when the pop-off valve was spitting moisture when it was time to change the dryer filter.

Here is a Spartan recommended procedure to be carried out on occasion to verify the integrity of the check valves in the system and gauge operation. Other than that a few second pull once a month starting with the clear or grey cable then the green followed by the red.
