Brake Line and Driveshaft

While I was greasing the drive shaft, u-joints and rear brakes, I noticed that the brake line for the passenger side drive axle was touching the driveshaft and wearing away the protective coating on the brake line. Might not be a bad idea to check yours or have someone check for you.

Need to get a couple HD tie wraps to pull the hose away from drive shaft. Might also check or have someone else check the rest of the coach. Might have had a tie wrap break or slide which allowed hose to make contact. Does need to be corrected before moving coach and maybe event replace hose.

I checked the rest of the coach and found no other rubs. I will be contacting Spartan this morning and the will be replacing the brake hose under warranty!

I know, right. Now I need to polish the rest of the driveshaft so that it is all the same.

There was an Parker part number on the tag, so it looks like Spartan has gone to Parker/Racor.
