Probably not a big deal since all seems to be working - cable, OTA and Direct.

Slightly off topic - should I be able to get Satellite on the front (overhead) TV?
Yep...at least on mine, it is the same satellite showing on your main salon TV. if it sounds like I'm bitching about the entertainment system wiring...I am. For me, if I understood it (or could pull it out far enough out of the cabinet without disconnecting something to build my own wiring system), then I'd wire the bulkhead TV to the rear TV and the outside TV to the salon TV (opposite to what it is) so I could watch satellite movies while running NHL Center Ice on the bulkhead at the same time.:(

You have a box of many buttons, the booster is not where the other guy thinks it is (it is in the antenna) he has an rv with a wall plate, the wall plate has a switch, light 12 volt outlet and antenna connector.

This wall plate, and your box of many buttons, both are the "Source Selectors" and the power supply to the rooftop antenna booster.
But it's not the booster.. Though it is the switch that turns it on.

But you have the box of many buttons so his post was... Not addressing your problem. you may ignore it. I have the same box. But then I have upgraded so I have a upgraded wall plate too. (Sensar Pro).

The boost switch is in your "many buttons" selector box. If my memory is right it is the button on the far left.

Far left is power if we're talking same box. Next is a "modulator" button. Mine has never been depressed (if we're talking the same box). Is that the now infamous "boost" button. As is the case with most of this system, who'd have known

No, power is the boost button. The only time you want that on is if you are viewing local stations on your batwing antenna.

I'm not sure the modulator function is installed or what it does, but I don't think we need it for our setup.

Interesting...I've had the power on for 13 months...both cable and over the air. No difference on gable whether off or on. Not situated to try it with over the air to see if it makes a difference, but it doesn't affect cable that I can see. Hmmmm.....

I think you are right, because sometimes I forget and leave it on with no adverse effect. But as a habit I try to turn things off when they aren't needed to minimize battery drain when boondocking.

Same for me - I haven't turned it off with any consistency and can see no difference. I'm just curious if there is something similar to the boost button I had in the Phaeton. If it was on when you were watching cable, the picture was seriously awful. I haven't found anything similar on the Entegra
