You can get some pretty nice value if you can locate a park near where you need to stop, AND......you can manage to get a site that fits your rig. Sometimes, you have to play games.....like come in real late and boondocks the parking l so you can get first dibs on a site that will vacate the next morning.

There certainly isn't anything wrong with camping for free if you don't mind playing those kinds of games.if your membership costs $2K, you'll need to stay more than 65 nights just to break even. Thereafter, you'll pay an annual membership fee that equals at least 16 nights of camping. After that, you're money ahead. It can make fiscal sense if you are full timing near wh,ere their campgrounds are located.
