I had some of the pink anti freeze spill on the floor when winterizing from the kitchen faucet, and it set off the CO alarm. Some cleaner fumes set it off from time to time. I would replace yours to hopefully eliminate the false alarms. Had a whole family here in our hometown pass from CO poisoning at home - not worth the risk removing the fuse, long term.

My 2012 aspire detector went haywire too. Fuse pulled until I get the new one installed...

Dog farts will set off the LP gas detector portion of the alarm. Just a warning. The schnauzers lay under the wife's chair by the refer where the alarm is located in the 44B. We didn't believe it at first but it's happened multiple times. Scares the hell out of the dogs and us. And just to clarify, the wife was not setting there when it occurred.

Ralph..... I was told there is a glass breakage sensor aboard by my PDI tech. I assume he was not pulling my leg on that. Are you sure that your wine bottle hitting the floor was not the glass breakage alarm rather than the CO detector?????? I have set off the alarm doing nothing more than roughly putting the stainless steel knives in the knife drawer...... which is a sound, if not done gently, that is a lot like the sound of breaking glass. DebbieMH (Lynn).... I am wondering if that was not the source of your alarm also

No, mine was the CO alarm. When it was going off, finally pushed the right buttons to turn it off. Fire alarm goes off all the time I'm cooking or even doing toast. I now put on the fan on high, helps about half the time.

I think you are talking about the smoke/fire alarm. I am talking about a different thing.... the breaking glass alarm. Again, I have not confirmed this, but the PDI tech said that our Anthem was protected by a sensor that just detects breaking glass, which would be most important if someone is trying to break into your coach by breaking out a window. When the system senses the breaking glass, it triggers the same alarm that the CO system triggers (loud warble)(No fun for your neighbors (or you) in an RV park!!). We dropped a wine glass on the ceramic floor (empty, thank heavens) within the first week we were in the coach, and set off the alarm and then twice I set off the alarm by too-forcefully tossing knives into the utensil drawer (which is a "crash" like breaking glass).
Now, the smoke alarm IS a problem. My DW cooks a lot and we were setting off the alarm with situations that had nothing to do with a fire or smoke, and although others will disapprove, we solved that problem by removing the battery. It's quiet now! I would rather have a smoke alarm in the bedroom or forward rather than right over the kitchen anyway, and will add them later. I have installed three more fire extinguishers, two in the coach, and one more below in the basement.
