Check your electrical connections

Just a reminder to check your electrical connections. It doesn't take long to check, maybe 30 minutes. Checking these connections can help prevent the electrical gremlins we sometimes experience. I've discovered loose connections primarily on the DC feeder cables that are bolted such as coach/house battery, front compartment below drivers window slide room controller and fuse panels, Full wall slide controller in the basement, and the 12V disconnect solenoid and battery connect solenoid, both in the basement, for our coach.

We have had some issues with our slides intermittently not working. I suspect it was these loose connections because they have been working great lately.

The latest find was the 12V disconnect. I have taken pictures of all the main items, for location, part number, fuse panel labels, etc. I was reviewing these pictures and found that the bolt was coming loose on the 12V disconnect. I tightened it up this weekend. Check out the photo of the "Big Boy Battery Disconnect". The top left terminal, the nut has almost fallen off.

Just did this on the transfer panel. Things were nice and tight. I replaced it a bit over a year ago.
