The 53-62 Corvettes are known as the solid axle Corvettes or C1's
The 63-67 Corvettes are known as the Mid Years or C2's
The 68-82 Corvettes are known as the Sharks or C3's
The 84-96 are C4's
The 97-04 are C5's
The 05-13 are C6's
The 14-Present are C7's

I'm sticking with Chuck. Pretty soon Entegra will probably offer a new model with the old body style and call it a "Classic"

I have to thank the OP for this post. Sky King was one of my favorite Saturday afternoon Westerns growing up. Did some checking online, found out it is also a "classic" and episodes are available on Youtube. Thanks for bring back a fond memory that I am going to enjoy watching an old episode or two.

I also take no offense to my 14 being labeled as a classic.. it’s simply the first body style of Entegra and a really good one imo..
in 16 it changed to a new front and rear cap design which simply makes the 15 and prior coaches a “classic “ style. Doesn’t mean it’s old..
I think chucks choice of word was great and glad it has stuck around..
And I am 46.. not a old fart...
