Co-pilot chair

We picked up our Anthem DEQ three wks. ago from Orlando RV and we couldn't be more pleased with the handling of the coach. My concern is the co-pilot chair that is very uncomfortable. Speaking for the DW (me) who is 5'6" tall, how do you get your feet to touch comfortably on the step cover? If I lower my chair all the way then the chair dumps me forward and if I tilt it back then my feet dangle. Not a good situation.

My wife has a little footstool that she uses. On occasion, she puts the electric footrest up and tilts back in the chair. She's 5'3".

X2 on Tom's response. Much more comfortable for DW to use the reclining foot rest, whether she reclines or not. The other thing that we both notice is that, at times, it feels like both DW and I, in the drivers seat, are leaning. Plan to ask folks at Entegra to look at this in May when I take the coach to the factory for some other actions. Meantime DW is sitting "on the other side of the chair"

Short chick chairs

My DW is vertically challenged and so far the Aspire copilot chair has been okay for her. On my previous Monaco MH I removed the copilot chair and then the base from the chair and took it to a welding shop and had them cut the base 3 inches with a bandsaw then reweld. Might be extreme, but it worked well.
