Coleman Fan Control

I have the RV Comfort.ZC thermostat located (strangely) in the mid bath.

Is there a way to set it so just the fan runs, that is no AC & no heat pump? My previous MH used a Dometic thermostat that allowed setting the fan to run independently for air circulation, but without cooling or heating.

As I recall, my previous Anthem had a fan setting on the Coleman's. Evidently, they have changed either the mechanism or the top unit, as the CS wall unit no longer has that option. It is a different wall unit from the earlier years.

I also noted that when you are using the heat pump and the temp drops below a certain point (haven't pulled out the owner's manual to see what that is yet, but looks like something like 40 degrees), it adds a burner mode and the floor registers operate off the aqua hot (which I had set to electric at the time) and represents itself on the readout of the device in the bath with a little burner symbol.

I think I figured it out. It seemed to me that, with the system setting on cool, toggling the mode switch for a particular zone changes the fan from Auto,High,Low. In Auto mode, the fan should run whenever the AC compressor is triggered by temperature. With the fan setting on High or Low, the fan should run continuously at those speeds regardless of whether the compressor is running. For some reason I could not get that to work last night sitting at my kitchen table and wanting a little circulation from zone 2. Checked thins morning - the middle AC circuit breaker had tripped. Reset, and all is fine. Works as expected.

I think the HVAC controls are ripe for a technology do-over to make them easier and more intuitive. Placing them in the main cabin would be nice. Integrating with the iPad controls would be nicer. Adding a network remote & "Nest" feature would be nicest.

The middle bath appears to be the Entegra location of choice. My guess is with so much electrical terminating there in the fuse panel, maybe that's the logical place for the AC...???

That said, AC and sewer release controls on the iPad would make the iPad much more useful.

Not sure how much I would use remote sewer release. I like to watch what's happing out there. Besides which, I always flush after dumping the black tank.
