But Robert, wasn't your Aspire one of several "limited edition" Aspires with IFS? I don't believe the Aspires currently being built have IFS.

There were a few Aspires sold with IFS. Apparently Entegra bought some Spartan chassis that had IFS for a few Aspires. You are one of the lucky ones who got one of those.

I'm not sure if it called a "limited edition", but came with IFS ...

That gave us the push we needed to purchase it...

Must be a limited addition. Entegra's website does not indicate IFS is even available in the Aspire. Only the Anthem & Cornerstone.

As I understand it, Entegra got a number of IFS chassis from Spartan which they used on some Aspires. I don't know how many were involved, but there were a number of them available for those that ordered a unit at that particular time.

I think the auto air leveling on the Cornerstone is a big plus over the other Entegra models. I feel I would be using this feature more than the hyd. leveling.
One thing I have noticed on all of the higher end coaches is the use of darker woods on the furnishings. I know this is just a personal observation but to me it makes the coach look older, darker and not as clean and new looking. Nearly all the Entegras that MHS stocks in Fort Worth (Alvarado) have the darker cherry wood etc.

For information purposes, the Hadley air system is not the same air system that you will find on coaches like Prevost whereas the coach will maintain a level balance indefinitely. The Hadley system on the Cornerstone has no auxiliary air compressor to keep the coach balanced when the engine is not running other than what is already stored in the air tanks. Once your coach bleeds that air off after a few days (maybe more, maybe less), you will have to either start the engine to fill the air tanks or use the hydraulic jacks. The Hadley air system is good when backing into areas where there is an indentation in the drive where you can raise the coach would help clear ground obstacles, or pulling into areas where lowering it would allow a few extra inches of space. It's a great system, but I was disappointed to know it was not a system that I could use for prolonged periods.

That's a disappointment. Thanks for the clarification.

Tony, I'm a retired CWO4 Aviator. I say save your beans and buy a nice used Cornerstone when the time arrives. With the Money the two of you make you will be able to drop down 75%. I have a 07 Travel Supreme Select 45' and enjoy all those goodies now. The length is nice.

Hello 1aviator,

That is an interesting prospect, the only issue I see is the lack of availability and warranty concerns. I've noticed that even used Entegras don't tend to stay on the lots very long and spending that kind of money I want to ensure that I have a warranty that will cover unforeseen issues.

Used Cornerstone (2010, I believe, on the lot at RVone (Orlando)).

I looked at it, but having the warranty, floor plan, and the right interior color selection is very important so I'm sure a new rig will be the direction that we go in.

Then I'd revert back to the earlier posts. Cornerstone is a nice coach and the added horsepower may be real nice if you think you need it. After three weeks in the Anthem, it has most of what you get in the Cornerstone, and it is real nice.
