This is my email conversation with Ray the owner in Canada. If you pick up the cart in Canada you would save shipping cost. If you decide to buy from Ray give him our name, Douglas French

Hi Doug

Thank you for your interest in the Kangacruz Aspire.
I have asked the shipping company for a quote for shipping to your location and I will get back to you with that as soon as I hear back from them.

The pricing on the carts is in Canadian Dollars, but I will also give you an estimated cost in US dollars based on today’s exchange rate.
Shipping can be expensive, however, because of the exchange from Canadian to US dollars, it usually works out to your advantage overall.

There are also differences in the Aspire to consider, when compared to other similar carts. The Aspire has a rounded streamlined design, LED headlights, signal lights, horn, 4 way flashers, front and rear shocks and suspension, and the steering wheel and accelerator pedal are on the left side. These are features that similar carts do not have.

36 Volt Base Model ….. $3795.00 (CAN) -- $3166.00(US)

Full roof with fold down windshield….. $245.00 (CAN) -- $204.00

Rain cover for the Aspire….. $105.00 (CAN) -- $88.00 (US)

Storage cover….. $105.00 (CAN) -- $88.00 (US)

Are the hand rails included? ….. Yes hand rails are included in the base price of the cart

Are the ramps included? ….. No the ramps are not included, they are available at a cost of $219.00 a pair (CAN) -- $182.00 (US)

Black seats….. are available at no extra charge as long as we have stock, keep in mind that the black seats will get very hot if the cart sits in the sun.

Shipping cost Wimauma, Florida 33598….. I will get back to you on the shipping cost as soon as I hear back from the shipping company.

Do you charge any tax? ….. We do not charge tax on sales outside of Canada, however, there will be import duties and fees that will need to be paid and the paper work involved with that, We do however, take care of the paper work for you and you would pay us the fees, we then submit it to US customs and clear your cart before it gets to the border for you, that way there is no delays at the border with shipping. The import costs are approx. $250.00

Total cost not including the import fees or shipping
Includes, Aspire with full roof, windshield and hand rails,
Black seats, rain cover, storage cover, and ramps ….. $4469.00 (CAN) ---$3728.00 (US) not including shipping and import fees

While at Summerfest we saw that Ron and Cindy have a RV Rover and it looks like it worked great for them. He carries it behind his Jeep just like the brochure shows. I felt it went faster than the Cricket.and it seemed better built.

Cricket vs Kangacruz - portable golf carts

Got a wild hair this afternoon and decided to find a better way to travel with the cricket golf cart. Due to the low rail height in the storage area (Newmar-Freigthliner) I had to remove the back seat and let some air out of the tires. It takes an extra 5 minutes to put everything back together when I get ready to use the cart, but it seems more convenient than storing it in the jeep.Click image for larger version

Just curious. How would you load a full-size golf cart into a pickup? My wife and I both being 6' 2 would look like clowns in one of those tiny crickets!

A regular golf cart will fit fine with a full size pickup bed. We have a short bed - so did get a cricket. We enjoy it.

We have really enjoyed our cricket. It travels in the back of our Dodge Ram - it would fit very easily in a Grand Cherokee.

We use an Extend-A-Haul in our F-150 Platinum short bed. The Extend-A-Haul is kinda like a giant telescoping tilting ramp.

We use a 12V winch to guide it up, and it works well.
