Tony, it will come with four L16 AGM batteries, and unless something has changed Entegra doesn't offer an option for more than that. In our 2018, the house batteries are the Discover brand, but my understanding is that Entegra is currently installing Relion batteries.

I'm sure you could add additional house batteries if you really wanted to, so long as you're willing to give up the space necessary to house them.

Larry is right on batteries from Middlebury.... 4 is the max to the best of my knowledge. However, one of the regular participants on this forum is Rubicon Trail and he installed two extra L16s in his 2018 Cornerstone. His thread on that subject is on here. Use the search box up near the top right (Google) to search this forum and you will find it.

As I remember it, he had to move the partition that covers the batteries out to accomodate the additional batteries with a loss of basement space, but then simply inserted them in beside the stock batteries.

Here is a link to the thread in which John Arenz ("RubiconTrail") documents his battery upgrade:

His first post in the thread is on page 2; more info and a photo of page 3.

Update

As noted, I did. And yes, I would do it again. Easy mod, difference between worrying about overnight capacity and not.
