Strange that you should say that.... because in 40 years living in Mississippi and Louisiana, there are only a few things that I could always count on (along with taxes) and that was that State Farm was ALWAYS a crazy rate, regardless of what I was asking them to quote (houses, businesses, cars, buses..... doesnt matter). Either they have some information in my file that only they know (cause I can get good competitive rates from other companies, but they are always not even close to being competitive.
All of it depends on states and areas and claims experience, but I always call them and get a quote but they are never even close to what I can get elsewhere. Glad you have a different experience because I have wondered how they can stay in business...... it must be they are good some places and terrible in others.
