I'll assume the fan is running, but no cold air. You may have a leak in the system. Recharging kits are available at most auto parts stores. But if it has a slow leak, the problem will return again and it's time to see an air conditioning expert. Good Luck.

What vents is the air blowing out of? With the air on is the center of the compressor hub back at the engine turning? The compressor is the thing the small fan belt runs. The answer to those question will help diagnose what the problem might be.

Your dash AC system may have a valve ( heat vs cool ) on the firewall that can stick/malfunction and cause the situation you have. Most AC repair shops have no knowledge of the valves existence. Suggest you contact Entegra CS for more information.

X2 what Brian said, the default will be the air blowing out of the defroster vent on the windshield.

These dash AC units seem to have many problems. Ours, for example, has been “fixed” by a reputable shop 4 times in the last 15 months. No repair lasted more than a week. I am now n Oregon and am scheduled for yet another repair. I have had “O” rings fail on the low pressure side, on the high pressure side, even had the whole compressor change. Hoping that the next fix will be the one that lasts. We live in Texas, and AC is kinda important....

First thing I would check is the ac compressor fuse since it was an off on problem. Look at the fuse compartment close to the Def tank, should be some spares in lid. Has a top to unscrew . Ron

Yes, the dash ACs are problematic with some really long lines involved. I had one go out. However for your issue, I’d place a bet on controls. The switch, dampener valve, etc. Good news is these are located under the dash and on the firewall.
