Dash radio in house speakers

When I set the radio to "House" and receiver to "Aux" I get the radio out of only one house speaker. Does anyone know what I have set wrong?

Maybe the balance is set to one side or the other? I also don't know if there's an A/B speaker switch that may need to be changed also.

Do you have the Bose System or the Samsung? If it's the Samsung, the "house button" on the radio serves no purpose, it is only for the Bose system. To get the radio to play on the Samsung HT, set the Samsung HT to Aux and wait a couple of seconds and it will play.

Does the speaker work on any other settings? Also, if you can access back of various audio components make sure all cables are plugged in firmly. If connections allow, try switching left and right cables and see if speaker comes alive. It will help narrow things down in your troubleshooting.

All the speakers work with the TV or DVD, just not the dash radio. We have the Samsung system.

Next question, do both channels of the radio work on dash speakers? Could be a bad wire/cable from radio to Samsung unit or, if no sound out of one channel, that side of radio could be blown.

Do not use the house button on the radio. Leave it off. With the dash radio on, turn the Samsung unit to aux and you will hear the dash radio.

At least on mine it is not a fact that the house button serves no purpose. With the house button on and the Samsung entertainment system set to aux I get the dash radio through the entertainment system on both overhead speakers. With the house switch set to off there is no dash radio playing through the entertainment center even if it is in aux. The dash radio switches to the radio speakers with the house switch set to off. That's how mine works. New gps system and radio, but still have the Samsung entertainment . Noel

I neglected to thank you for that post earlier, I tried it without the "House" button pushed, at first I though it worked but then realized it was only because the console with the woofer was open to dry out and I could hear the woofer better. So 2 speakers work; left forward channel and subwoofer. All 6 work with the TV or DVD.

It's on my punch list.

I don't remember how I did it but one day I was listening to the CD player and had the front and rear (bedroom) stereos on so that the CD was playing out of two sets of surround sound systems.

The "House" button on mine makes the sound thru the Samsung system much louder but still plays only thru 1 ceiling speaker and the woofer. The bedroom system only plays with "House" mode on and the DVD player in Aux 2. It only plays thru the front 2 or 3 speakers.

Entegra can figure it out when I go next spring.

Sounds like a bad connection on one of the channels to the salon HT. The Samsung HT plays stereo only through the 2 speakers closest to the tv and the woofer.

Do you need a USB cable to play music from your iPhone or can you connect via Bluetooth?
