I dont have a 17, but know that my 15 has two inverters which do the charging and there are reset buttons on the inverter that you have to depress when the inverters drop out due to some problem. They are probably mounted on the top of the basement between the two main rails of the chassis.

You say that your batteries are dead.... have you taken a VOM or DVM voltage meter and checked the voltage and know that the batteries are actually at some very low voltage? If not, do that. What do the inverters say the battery voltage is?

Also, be sure and call Entegra Customer Service emergency number. That is a 24/7/365 service. Someone is on call all the time. It might save to an answering machine that the on call person checks periodically, but someone should check it soon and get back with you. Be sure to give them a quick indication of your problem on the recording. That is your best and fastest way to get your problem answered.

Entegra customer service emergency number?

Do you have that phone number? The vega touch will run only if the engine is running. I continually get "transfer switch default"which I assume means the switch that selects between shore power and generator isn't working.

The number I have in my phone is: 574-361-0034 Have not needed to call emergency in a while so hope that gets you to the answering machine or the emergency tech.

open generator slide cover and look at front of generator and make sure generator main breaker is on. it is located on the main body of the generator and is pretty obvious as it is out in the open and not hidden under a cover or anything....which means it can get knocked off by accident sometimes.

Look at the breaker panel above the drivers head. Make sure the breakers for the inverters are on.

check the battery disconnect switch to the immediate left of the entry stairs to make sure it is on.
