I always buy the 2.5 gallon jugs I'd DEF because of dealing with possible contamination issues. The difference in cost is not enough for mr to take a chance. There are a couple of local stores where there are frequent sales at one or the other and I get it fit $7.88 per jug. I try to plan ours trips and take enough along to get home. If I get caught short it costs a little more but peace of mind is worth it to me, but that's just me. JMHO

I got the impression they are working on a video series that will be available to a much broader audience - no specifics provided, but I think it's coming. The hands-on time you get on real chassis' in the classroom and on your own coach in the service bay will still be very valuable, but a lot of the info we got could easily be packaged on YouTube.

Reviving this old thread as I just replaced the filter on our Phaeton. I just wanted to verify the 2 filters in the pix are compatible w/each other? Our old filter looks just like the one in the top pix. The replacement I installed is just like the lower pix. Curious why the design changed so much if they are in fact compatible filters?
Thx, Don

There are 2 different types of DEF filters, depending on the model year. See pics
