Docking Lights

As soon as I pay off a Christmas planning on installing a set of these Amazon.com: Nilight NI2 6 Cree LED Work Light Bar Flood Beam 60° Waterproof for Off-road Truck Car ATV SUV Jeep Boat 4WD Auxiliary Driving Lamp: Automotive on either side of the hitch frame. Done the multiple traffic jams, late Friday departure due to problems beyond my control and other such that results in an after dark arrival. My Navigator helps but there were times that if she wasn't holding a flash light I would have had no idea where she was.

I like the idea of adding a light to the hitch bracket. I just bought a 48 watt Cree Big brother to the one you bought and will just try tying it into the standard Entegra back up lights that are on the coach and see how that works. Will report back on the results.

If the little round pee-wees go out, I will cut the fiberglass out and mount decent lights like the TS had. It's not very often I use them, but I want them there if I should need them, it has happened.

That was my thought. I ordered some and their profile is such that you need to grind down the fiberglass and re-paint to use them...so I chose the LED's I posted earlier.

The elimination of the cats turning on the docking lights issue finally turned up on my to do list.

I made a similar box for our two previous coaches. This box is made of cherry with a cypress top for contrast. No more inadvertent docking lights or returning to find they stepped on the battery disconnect switch!

Could someone do some measuring of the docking lights on a 16? They look nice and I would like to replace mine if they will fit.
