Dont drive with doors closed.

Here I thought I was going to be thoughtful and allow the B&C sleep in. So as to not wake I closed the bedroom door. Bad move, very bad move. Unbeknownst to me the doors lock in place trapping anyone in the room when the parking break is released. Being the bedroom the B&C couldn't get to the potty, and because I closed both sets of doors I couldn't hear the blood curdling screams, banging and threats to my life. The nice passing trucker waved me down to pull over after he saw the person waving a white shirt out the back window.

Live and learn.

How did they lock, I can't picture that. Mine are sliding pocket doors that only lock in the open position so that the don't roll out while driving down the road.

So sad to hear reports of your early demise were not exaggerated.

When you release the parking break apparently little rubber tipped pegs pop out to hold everything in place, nice feature, keeps them snug in place so they don't rattle. Also locks anyone in if they are closed. The bruising will be a constant reminder to me.

My first thought was "that is unsafe as H", trapped in a burning MH.

Second thought was probably not supposed to be there while moving, but dying by fire is pretty severe punishment for a misdemeanor.

Our coaches have an exit window in the bedroom...on the other hand, exiting at 65 mph might result in a little road rash!!!!

Didn't you get a remote control that allows you to override the locking tabs if you need to access the rest of the coach while it is on the road.

Don't let DH read "helpful" tips while drinking hot coffee

I'm still cleaning up the coffee that burst out of my mouth when DH read me your tip about closing the doors before taking the parking break off! for the laughs. That was too funny. I can say that because it didn't happen to me, yet!

Air lock doors-lock either open or closed. Hear a "pop" when releasing air parking brake.
