door latch or hinges noise

Does anyone have any knowledge that may help with coach door noise. I am hearing a whistle I was concentrating on sealing any leaks in the front underneath area with spray foam. As my coach door has a whistle and some extra road noise sounds as if its at the door handle and or hinges any ideas where to look would be very useful. I have tried adjusting the top latch and no change.

Johnny, I chased a wind noise on the TS for 10 years and finally got it down to where it was only noisy on a quartering head wind. If simple fixes haven't solved the problem, that is one of those things that is best left to the factory. The new Entegra's have one of the better door systems I have seen for sealing. The factory does have door jigs that can true the door and that really helped, at least TS did.

Buy the cheapest mechanic's stethoscope you can find (Harbor Freight or northern Tools), pull the end probe off the plastic and slide a piece of vacuum hose (8 to 12 inches or so long) get someone else to drive while searching for the noise with the end of the hose and you can pinpoint exactly where it's coming from. This is a valuable tool for finding vacuum leaks as well. I've even found gasket leaks using a mechanical alarm clock or cell phone on other side of the door in test.

Also, when your finished finding your leak put the tip back on the end of the hose to keep from loosing it and the tip is used when looking for noisy alternator, water pump bearings etc. these stethoscopes should be around $5 or so and last a lifetime.
