Corey

How'd you adjust that sensitivity? I see the rheostat near at least the rear sensor. Did you just turn it a little and then wait to see reaction or can you tell immediately if the sensor is at the "trigger point"? The manual doesn't say boo about it. Mine sets the alarm off after 5 mins or so with nobody in the coach. I wonder if anybody with alarm experience would know if you could add a motion sensor to the system or even fire alarm?

Using the lock above the bed arms our alarm and I have to use either the fob or the auto lock to disarm - manually unlocking the door will cause an alarm. Since we have not attempted to adjust the sensitivity it could be that the noise of the unlock process is enough to trigger the alarm. We rarely set the alarm because of the barking machines on board - they provide sufficient alarm for anyone approaching the coach. Has anyone tried to adjust theirs down to a point where barking would not trigger?

We have a dog and the alarm was going off when we left, as our neighbors attested to! There are two sensors. Front one, you can take the pass side cupholder out and see the sensor and the adjustment knob. I just went all the way and then kept adjusting further until it was not going off when we left the coach. The second is in the back bedroom wall. Mine you can get to from the laundry closet. Close to the bottom. Adjusted the same way.

Joyce advised me that the way the system is supposed to work is that if the door is locked with the "above bed" switch the alarm is armed, and if the door is opened without either switch or key fob unlocking it, the alarm will sound.
