Dripping slide topper
Good evening,
There seems to be a constant drip from the end cap of my door side front slide topper. It's not coming from the top or the roof, it appears to be in the end cap. It has not rained here but there is heavy fog in the mornings the past few days. Has anyone had this issue? Any suggestions for a fix? Thanks everyone!

There is a gutter that runs just above the slide topper with downspout just forward of the PS slide on my ‘14. Could this be the issue?

No, it's definitely coming out of the end cap. Weird. Not sure if the cap can be removed without breaking it somehow.

The cap has two screws then slide it outboard slightly to disengage the two tangs and you've got it in your hand.

Jim, this began on our 16 Anthem at about the 10 month point. I've spoke with other owners having the same problem. According to Girad appears debris can get past the sweep and into the box creating a dam allowing water to pool up and slowly drip out over time.
To solve the problem we need to clean the boxes out. Unfortunately the face cover on our model of boxes aren't hinged and the only way to get access is to pull one of the end caps off and lift the topper to gain access to bottom of box. Ughh!
They sent me the procedures for gaining access and it does require releasing tension off the spring. Feel free to PM and I will send you what I received.
I'm waiting for a little nicer weather before I tackle it.
Mark

Mark, Possibly you could post it for all of us if/when you have time ?
I have removed the end cap a couple of times but wasn't sure how to proceed.

First time attaching a document...lets see how it goes.
While these procedures don't
call out directions for cleaning the boxes, they do show you how to remove the end cap that will allow you to lift up one end only of the roller to get to the bottom of the box. If you have any questions/concerns you should call Girad. They have been very helpful to me.

I would suggest only removing the end caps and try to flush from one end to the other using only typical spigot water pressure, no pressure washers.
Canting the coach forward or rearward with the jacks would help things drain out.
I’d suggest doing this with the slide fully extended as the roller will be less of an issue.

Dripping slide topper
Well we took off the endcap, FULL of crud. Hoping that solves the drip problem and we won't have to do anything else.
