Drivers Window Making Noise

Hello all, was wondering if anyone else experiences this type of noise on their drivers window?
This is the second window, both do the same type of noise when going down the freeway. Seems to happen with wind gusts but doesn't take much, just a change in pressure.
Can't hear any wind coming through the window edges, everything seems tight and installed correctly. Guess I'm just wondering if normal or not, funny that both did the same thing.

Mine has been doing that for over year . Was driving In a hell of a side wind for couple states. Dam near sucked the window out. Was trying to get to factory to get fixed along with PDI , but guess there booked up until spring of 2019. [emoji848]

On our 2017 Anthem we experienced the same cracking sound eminating from the driver’s side window aft upper corner. It was an unnerving sound most prevalent at higher speeds. The dealer removed and reset the window twice finally resolving the issue.

Wow. Thought it was just me. At my AIR last month they replaced the window but it was because of severe wind noise. Now that the cockpit is quiet again I’ve heard same noise intermittently. Looks like another trip to window shop

We are on window #4, 2 of which I’ve changed.

On the ‘17 MY coaches, a common failure was the parting line between the toll window and the upper pane.

I saw the ‘19s had been redesigned with a larger toll window, and thought that would eliminate the issue, guess not.

Contact CS as the backorder is significant on these (4-6 weeks).

I had my popping and cracking drivers window "fixed" at the dealers yesterday. They unscrewed the inner frame and placed a piece of rubber around the entire frame. It wasn't very wide nor very thick and I thought I heard some popping on the way to our next stop as we drove though town. We'll see.

My 2016 Anthem does the same thing. Mostly quiet but in certain conditions it pops and cracks.

that noise isn't normal?
I think I will continue to ignore it. It's just from "stuff moving around"
While I love the Entegra, it's not built like the Monaco, which was all welded aluminum, not a stick of wood in it.

It seems many are experiencing different problems, some simultaneously.

The “popping” is typically related to the clamp ring rubbing on the wallpaper on the inside of the window opening. This is a really old issue that PJ even made a video about.

The solution is to remove or loosen the clamp ring and install some material that will relieve this frictional noise. Successful corrective materials have been black electrical tape and rubber weatherstripping. In order to loosen the clamp ring, a 90 degree drive will be a big assist. Otherwise, you’ve got to remove the valence. Either way, the side shades need to come out.

The “whistling” we’ve experienced has been related to the parting line where the toll window and upper pane of glass affix to the horizontal support frame. The upper pane of glass comes loose from this frame. Ultimately the solution requires replacing, or resetting the window.

In the 2019 MY, Entegra went to a redesigned window with a smaller upper pane. I haven’t heard of any failures with the redesign.

I realize that this may not be your situation BUT I chased a clicking noise from the driver side window in my 2016 Anthem for a number of miles on multiple trips. I finally traced it to a loose screw retaining the lower part of the wooden valance just behind the driver's window. The retaining screw was loose and the noise was from contact with the metal mounting bracket as the valance moved...sometimes it would click and clack and other times it would not make any noise. If you wiggle the valance, you can instantly tell if there is any play in the retaining screw. A slightly larger screw solved my problem.
Just a thought!
PS I've already had the entire driver window replaced by Entegra so I've had my share of experience with the wind noise issue.
