A small microwave installed in the cabinet above the driver's seat would make it easier to make popcorn. I hate askin' the DW to hold my beer while I go back to nuke a bag of Orvelle's. She's always too busy with Facebook to watch the road. Now that's just plain dangerous. They should outlaw Facebook.

Same here. The 2015 Cornerstone that I drove fit like a glove. The complaints with seat comfort seem to be prevalent in the Aspire and Anthem rather than the Cornerstone. I hope the 2016 seats in the CS are as good as the 2015s were. I'll find out tomorrow I guess. I'm sure the new 2016 seats for the Anthem and Aspire will be a welcome improvement as well.

[QUOTE]=DoggieDaddy;2607966]Because nobody actually sits in the chair to see if it's right. QC is "drivers seat in place?"......check. I don't think anything is actually checked for functionality, only if it is not missed in the build. We have the same seat issues as most everyone. QUOTE]

Someone drove it out the door, another to the dealer lot, and the buyer (and others) test drove it. So, it waits for the buyer to notice?
Guess they could add one more QC step: is the drivers seat level?

Cruzer, guess we are both lucky, it fits me like a glove also. I also share your concern that the new Cornerstone seats are as good as the 2015s. 🚌🚓

Nothing to do with luck. The 8 way leather Villa seats used in the Cornerstone were great (and more expensive). The 6 way ultraleather Villa seats that were used in the Anthem and Aspire were not so comfy. Entegra recognized these complaints, which is why they chose better seats in the 2016s.

So we have to buy up to get the new seats? There isn't an avenue to upgrade? Looks like a whole new side to the business to me. Just saying. Why should Entegra give so much business to the custom shops. There should be a market to bring my coach to current for a price.

Brian, the seats in our early 15 Aspire are Villa. There is absolutely no lumbar, front of seat is too high, about the only adjustment is back and forth. This is the down side of ordering a new coach from Entegra, you don't know what you will get for seats, appliances, or furniture until your coach is delivered to the dealer. We looked at a new coach, at a dealer, before we ordered ours and when ours came in it had a lot of differences than the one we had looked at before ordering. I don't know if other manufacturers make running changes or not, but I don't like the fact that Entegra did. Oh well too late now.

Dave

I believe that Entegra is now making a big push to cease or at least severely limit running changes during the model year beginning with the 2016. I feel like they needed to "mature" the coach with running changes in the early years and realize that they are at the point with the coach that it is best to keep these running changes to an absolute minimum. This benefits customers who will get what they are expecting, dealers and parts depts who will have more confidence in ordering specific model year replacements instead of needing a VIN and Entegra because of the simpler parts inventory. All JMHO 🚌😄

I believe that is a correct assessment.

Unfortunately, this is a problem that most RV manufactures have.

On the plus side, when an improvement is needed it can be done without delay. But on the negative side sometimes the owners is scratching their heads wondering why they're not getting what they thought they had ordered.

The factory knows more than I do but I think this issue can be resolved with better communication with the person who placed the order.

Not true.

If you would ever sit in a Winnebago Tour Ultra, and be able see all the gauges, it's like the greatest Lazy Boy ever.

I often wonder about someone who would purchase a vehicle without at least sitting in the drivers seat?

I remember while at a FMCA Rally in Bend, OR a fellow running past the coach yelling to his wife "Honey, I had coffee with Bob, I had coffee with Bob(Tiffen)". Seems now he would be running and saying "Honey, I had coffee with Joyce" etc.,. The magic wand has been passed to Entegra. Good luck.

I have a grand "Command Module" and love what I'm stuck with, level seat and all.
