So I found my Economy button...my view after 380 miles today of some pretty good hills, a lot of rolling stuff in Eastern NM and Texas...it works.
I saw very few shifts to fifth on the hills and while the instantaneous mpg dropped, the tach read about the same up the hills.
30 mile crosswind a lot of the time today....did about 8.5 mpg...I think I definitely got better milage...who'd a thought. I do know one thing, it was never mentioned at delivery, and I never even notice the button till this morning...thanks all.
