Watch out for that 25th month tho! Had to replace the Notcold cooling unit @ 25, lucky I have an extended warranty. Didn't bother Joyce with the problem since I had coverage and she has enough on her plate.

Given all that has happened with Norcold refrigerators (LP variety anyway), I think I'd look at the first opportunity to replace with a residential. Read a thread day before yesterday where a Norcold that had been "fixed" with a recall caught fire. Owner made it out of his 2009 (I think it was) Phaeton with his billfold, a few papers, and pictures. tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher. By the time 911 fire trucks responded the Phaeton was gone.

JMHO, although I have read a number of posts from owners that are happy with their Norcolds.

UPDATE: Well as usual Joyce and Entegra though. Although we were initially told the fridge was not covered Joyce followed up and even called Norcold! All of our repairs are completely covered and with Joyce's help (thank you Joyce ) Norcold even called to give us a warranty reference number, the part (cooling unit) is on order and repairs scheduled for next week.

Additionally Joyce called my wife today to ensure it was taken care of! Now that's customer service! When we thought we were going to have to pay, Entegra stepped up and assisted with ensuring it was covered. How many manufacturers would do that ..... Not many if any!

Thank you Entegra and especially Joyce!!!!! The award given to her at the Entegra fest is well deserved.

Glad to hear everything has worked out thanks to Joyce and Entegra. Nocold is not an enjoyable company to do business with as an indivitual.

Hi Robin, I am a member of irv2.com. Apparently someone with an Entegra had a Fridge to go out after one year. Entegra wouldn't honor the replacement or repair. I shared as you can see from the attachment below that you stated that Entegra "has a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty, if your washer goes out or your fridge goes out even though they are only one year warranties Entegra will replace it no questions asked." Well apparently Entegra isn't. Please let me know what the deal is with Entegra on this issue. My reply below in the link is "ranbev" thank you for your attention is this matter.

I was the individual that posted this thread. Initially I was told Entegra would not cover it, but Joyce followed up and it is covered under the two year warranty. As stated before Entegra's customer service is fantastic and Joyce is wonderful!

TerryO - we bought out 2012 Aspire with the Norcold since we like the option of gas or electric. So far we really love the option since it gives us more camping options.

I emailed Robin McCracken about the 2 year warranty issue and below is the response he sent me.

I don't know the details of this situation, but the warranty from Entegra starts the day you pickup your coach. If they have a 2012 Aspire with a gas fridge, your most likely well over the date's they are stating.

2012 Aspire's were hitting our lot April of 2011. This person never stated their "in-service" date. (The date they took possession)

I just had a customer's fridge replaced by Entegra Coach 18 months into their warranty. So, I know for a fact, Entegra Coach covers the 2-year claim.

Now remember, to replace a side-by-side residential fridge in a coach you need to remove the front windshield, have six guys carry the fridge out that windshield while two guys are holding the windshield. This is a Big Job. I know because I was one of those 6 guys.

18 months into the warranty and Entegra Coach paid for the entire job!! Labor and all.

If Joyce is involved, She's done some amazing things for my customers.

So with this said, I standby my statements.

I'm glad you got your issue taken care of, with Entegra's help. They did exactly as they should have.

However ... it's worth noting that they apparently didn't cover it under their own (Entegra's) warranty, but rather under Norcold's (which was still in effect, so that makes perfect sense). What would be interesting to see is if they would cover a component with a one-year warranty, in the second year of Entegra's warranty, so that it would be coming out of their own pocket.
