Here is the solution to your anthem heat problem. Take the 1st and 3rd ceiling mirrors off and you can now direct vent. No other way to keep cool heading down the road. Lived that nightmare already. It does not look bad and worth it. Been a hot summer and I cannot believe I need to do that on a brand new 2013 anthem.

Alshamu, I agree with you, you should NOT need to do that to stay cool. We are in Oklahoma and have tailgated with 14 people in the coach and coming in and out all of the time with the temp at 108 and the coach stayed very comfortable. I am thinking you need to have you coach checked, something is definitely not right having the trouble staying cool you are having, that would get old in a big hurry for me.

Saw Tiffan (Phaeton and Allegro Bus), Newmar (Dutch Star and Mountain Aire), and Entegra (Aspire and Anthem) at Hershey. Dutch Star and Mountain Aire really nice. The door on a wardrobe of an Allegro cam off in my hand. Bought an Entegra Anthem...beautiful coach (to be delivered in Jan 2013). Appreciate the info here and with many others as we did our research.

Fantastic to hear about your purchase!! Congrats and welcome to the new Entegra family. Where will you be taking delivery?

I am curious how you are getting delivery in January while many of us have to wait several months. I'm jealous to say the least.

Florida delivery...but I believe it may be one the dealership had on order...of course delivery is when it is. Hope there is no delay as there are a number of things we are making "click" to work the Jan/Feb time frame, including shutting down our residence, selling a car and a motorcycle, getting rid of a lot of stuff...and not a bit of second thought!!!

And congrats to you..when did you purchase and where are you delivering to. We worked with RV Direct at the Hershey show.

By the way, the choice of delivery location, winter in Des Moines, Buffalo, day...it wan't too hard.

DSL, CONGRATULATIONS!!! and welcome to the Entegra family. We also ordered our new Anthem from RVOne and still trying to decide where to take delivery. Think that you will be glad that you opted for the Anthem over the Aspire, both while you own it and for resale considerations.

Add a couple months to the date, that was my experience. Totally worth it, but we were 3 months late on a 5 month original leadtime.

Great information for a newbie like myself making a first purchase. So much in fact that your info on the Entegra made me make a trip to the closest sales dealer in Tucson 90 minutes away. When i got there the salesman gave me your report. I told him 'thanks but I've seen it already" with the help of all of you I know more about the Entegra than he did I think.......

I looked at a Cornerstone that was sold but I could tour around it. It was very impressive. The only other vehicle on the lot to test drive was a 2013 42' Aspire which had independent suspension. Aside from some general floorplan issues I had with the Cornerstone (which are going to be modifed at a dealer level) it was all good. The only mechanical issue I had with the Aspire test drive honestly was the steering was very loose. The coach wandered on the road (there was no wind, travelling at about 55-60mph) and I found myself having to concentrate on it severely. The Tiffin Bus didnt have this issue at the same speeds. I pointed it out to a factory rep who was with us. Perhaps it was just a nuance...maybe a problem in the sterring...but it was pretty noticeable to me and see this as a potential wear me out driving problem

My 2nd option for a coach selection is the new 45LP plan on the Allegro Bus. It just started shipping a few weeks ago. Its a 45' coach , basically a Zephyr floorplan and length. Still 1 1/2 baths. Kitchen is back of living area on Drivers side, L shape sofa sleeper in front of that on drivers side. Opposite behind the passenger seat is the Entertainment center with FP , small 52" sofa or 2 lounge chairs or 1 lounge with pull out table/cabinet . Dining area behind that and behind that is Fridge. Bedroom and bath are also reversed. Bed is on Passenger side instead of drivers. Has a walk in closet in the back with washer dryer, folding shelf and drawers. This floorplan is ideal Its a ZEPHYR now but in a bus and the price is exactly the same as the 43 LP to the penny.

But I can't skip the Cornerstone niceties and some innovative technology - i'm a techno geek. The ipad Coach automation and the distance sensors and just the smell of leather and wood inside, like a library - I'm ready to order one or the other. The price difference between the two is pretty significant but thats not thwarting me. I just want to be sure i have a coach i love and not have to pay the price to upgrade in a few years
Tiffins service I hear is just beyond great. Entegra's 2 year warranty and offer to help me with service anywhere I feel comfortable is also terrific. This purchase so far is harder than buying a house!
Any thoughts to help me make a decision would be appreciated . You all have been great - by the way the Entegra factory rep (national sales manager) reads this blog daily - so they are listening to you

RD, you might want to check with Cruz on the Tiffin situation. There was a time when I thought they had it all going for them, but in the past few years I continue to hear so many negatives. My friend swapped his beautiful Zephyr because he got tired of waiting for a call back as to when he could schedule his next service a year later! Some things just can't wait.

I've been to Red Bay and was impressed, but maybe not now? Also been to Jayco and continue to be impressed. I just think they are operating in the sweet spot right now....hope that doesn't change for a good while.

Your loose steering was definitely an anomaly. The 45' (yes, its the 44U) Aspire that I recently drove, as well as every other Entegra I've driven, handled excellent, rode well, and were very quiet.

RD, you might want to check out the Tiffin RV Forum before you jump into the Tiffin. After reading that forum for the last several years I would be very, very leery of buying a Tiffin. The last post under the "Poor Communication" thread talks about someone spending 24 days in Red Bay to get something fixed that never should have left the factory that way. For me, the chance that I might get a Tiffin mistake would keep me away from there until I see that they have resolved all their design, quality control, and production issues.
